Supplier Engagement Coordinator - Tejari Oct 13th 2013, 07:24 Role Purpose: SEC is responsible for Business Matchmaking initiatives by identifying potential suppliers for buyer demands, creating awareness about bidding opportunities with suppliers and establishing whether suppliers are qualified and interested to supply to those buyer demands. Key Accountabilities: - Review new RFQs/tenders on a continuous basis. - Identify and match qualified suppliers with buyer demands (RFQs/Tenders). - Encourage suppliers to participate in bidding via emails and telephone calls. - Managing buyer and supplier concerns so that successful RFQs and tenders may be realized (concluded within the required timeframes). - Build and maintain good working relationship with existing supplier community, establishing contacts for key commodities (supplier network) that can meet buyer demands - Note down and report all supplier challenges and requirements to the Line Manager. - Update reports daily, ensuring that the information is accurate and meaningful. - Review and update Tejari suppliers' contact information, user information, business categories and email IDs periodically. - Upgrade skills and knowledge on a continuous basis. Decision Making/Supervisory Role: - Monitor assigned SE Interns' performances and identify learning needs and areas for improvement. - Identify and act on RFQs/Tenders that require urgent attention. - Identify Buyer constraints (poorly floated RFQs) and report them on time.
