Al-Futtaim Electronics - Toshiba has a wide range of products from state-of-the-art notebook computers to digital copiers, fax machines, consumer electronics including projections TVs, DVD players and home appliances.
The Role:
Manage the Distribution of Aftron products through efficient and effective management of the sales team, marketing, information flow and services to regional branches and distribution channels. To ensure customer and vendor satisfaction and the achievement of business objectives.
Planning
* Provide strategic inputs for the distribution of Aftron products through the overseas regional branches and local distribution channels in order to ensure that the Business objectives are met in line with Aftron's strategy.
* Propose the annual sales plan for Distribution of Aftron products in KSA.
Channel Management
* Develop the operational plan for purchase of products from Aftron, Dubai and distribution through the local Branches/channels in order to ensure that the strategic plan is implemented in line with the business objectives.
* Execute the product allocation across channels in order to achieve the product mix goals.
* Ensure the effective management of all branches and channels of distribution in order to execute the operational plan and achieve business objectives.
Risk Management
Pursue prudent credit management practices in order to mitigate the risk of doing business across distribution channels.
Marketing
Ensure that marketing activities like demand creation, tactical trade promotions, bundling and packaging of services are planned and executed.
Services
Ensure that services like pre and post-sales support, warranties and logistics services are provided to the channels to ensure end-to-end value-added package to customers and vendors.
Information Flow
* Prepare demand forecasts based on feedback from channels to aid the purchase of products from Aftron Dubai.
* Prepare price positioning based on distribution market and head-on competitor pricing to aid product planning
Training and Updates
Ensure that the internal sales team and the channel partners are trained on new technologies and sales methodology and tactical marketing promotions, to keep them updated on the above areas prior to product launch and on an ongoing needs basis.
HR Management
Ensure that sales staff is well motivated, trained, and developed as a team in order to meet the department needs.
MIS
Ensure that timely and relevant reports are prepared to provide top management with an overview and facilitate decision making.
