OBJECTIVES:
The Brand Manager is responsible for delivering the company annual sales budget and for developing a monthly marketing plan to support the sales budget, the launch of new products, and the opening of new stores. Generally the Brand Manager should be the face across the company and an ambassador for the brand as well as being the main point of contact in Saudi for Company personnel in France.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage all advertising and store promotions, general marketing activities, the loyalty programme, New Product launches, and in store visual merchandising, ensuring that any initiatives suggested by the parent brand in France are fully understood and implemented where practicable
• Develop and implement a brand strategy to attract new customers, and to communicate the brand proposition.
• Contribute to the selection of new product ranges and work with the Supply Chain Director to ensure that all stores have >95% availability of core lines at all times.
• Develop a new store location strategy and work with the Property Director to find new store locations to meet the new store opening programmes detailed in the franchise contract and the company's annual business plan.
• Provide weekly /monthly sales performance updates and KPI analysis to management.
• Supervise the Company Area Manager and ensure high store operational standards and excellent customer service at all times.
• Grow and develop a motivated, proactive sales team in stores and ensure that >30% of Company staff are Saudi's.
• Develop training programmes and keep them up-to-date to ensure that salesmen are knowledgeable about the Company brand, and so that they can confidently talk to customers about the features and benefits of each product and range.
• Manage store controllable costs to budget including shrinkage.
• Follow the company's operational policies and procedures where relevant for Company.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI's):
• Achieve agreed sales and expenses budgets, monthly and for the Full Year
• Achieve agreed Saudization targets
• Achieve agreed numbers of new loyalty cards weekly and monthly per store
• Meet targets per store for ATV, IPC and shrinkage
• Find new locations per annual budget and open new stores on time and in budget
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing or Business Management.
• Minimum two (2) years experience in premium retail /brand management, / marketing companies.
