Summary
This position reports directly to and will work under the general supervision and direction of the Vice President Building and the Territory Executive Middle East and Africa. The main goal is to generate sales revenue to meet / exceed established sales goals in software products, services, training and subscriptions in the Building industry. To develop and grow the business opportunities in the assigned account base through his/her own efforts, account managers, and those of associated consultants and selected distribution partners.
Responsibilities
• Through the use of direct sales techniques including Large Account Management Planning and Strategic Selling meeting with assigned end-users, developing the relationships at various levels within a given account, setting up product demonstrations and closing sales to meet the revenue goals.
• Acting as primary contact with specified accounts by: a.) acting as liaison for all communications to and from the account; b.) determining the sales strategy and follow-up; and c.) negotiating and implementing approved contracts.
• Participating in sales events such as: trade shows, territory product demonstration seminars, user specific technical demonstrations, etc.
• Developing sales strategies and plans specific to the Building industry segment that will ensure accomplishment of the sales revenue goals. Building an increasing number of referencable accounts.
• Directing the sales activities of the Building Account Managers, Application Engineers and Consultants in the Territory.
• Developing close effective relationships, coordinating sales plans and promoting sales strategies with users, selected Resellers and other partners in the market. Developing and maintaining working relationships with appropriate corporate marketing, product development and support services heads.
• Overseeing all user contracts by: a) ensuring that project and subscription contracts meet the user requirements, b) securing approval for said modifications, and c) ensuring compliance with all of the terms and conditions of signed/accepted contracts.
• As part of the sales management team, preparing and presenting sales plans and reports on various aspects of your assigned industry segment as requested. These include such areas as: industry forecasts, revenue achieved, goal vs. sold comparisons, etc.
• Maintaining an appropriate level of product knowledge.
