About the RoleThe job holder will be required to provide support for supervision of contractors and processing end-user support requests (through different communication Channels) and attempting to resolve them directly when applicable. He/she will also be required to implement and comply with Environment, Health,Safety and Security policies and procedures.Principal Key Responsibilites - To respond to enquiries and provide first level end user support to users to resolve hardware or software issues- Coordinate resolution of opened tickets within the scope of service level agreements. - Maintain a log of all requests; track and monitor user satisfaction for record keeping - Attempt to resolve requests directly ( via phone or remote management ) for users, track progress and provide status information to users to solve customer queries. - If immediate resolution is not possible, ensure assigned request to second level personnel - Proactively look for root causes for continual requests, maintain documentation of the same.- Perform remote software distribution when applicable for resolving issues - To supervise contractors in laying fiber optic cables and splicing of cables in an effective manner. - To provide trend analysis report for management review and decision making.
