Local Purchasing Specialist - EVA Pharma / EVA Cosmetics Jan 27th 2013, 07:56 Searches for suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history. Buys better quality supplies in bulk and distributes them to multiple locations. Analyzes price proposals and other data and information to determine reasonable prices. Prepares purchase orders, solicit bid proposals and review requisitions for materials or merchandise. Issues purchase order as needed ensuring on time delivery of the required quantities after having the necessary approvals. Reviews and follows up on all purchase orders made with all concerned parties/departments. Checks the market prices regularly to evaluate the open contracts prices. Collects the invoice and the receiving documents and prepares them for the purchasing Manager approval. Submits the collected payment documents to finance aftr having all approvals. Issues purchase report reflecting the status of purchase orders opened and closed ones.
