1. Assists in managing the physical plant including equipment, guest room furniture all FF&E items
2. Complies with Marriott Health, Safety and Hygiene Policy
3. Comply with the departmental/corporate SOP & LSOP
4. Ensures that regular on-going communication occurs with associates in order to create awareness of business objectives, communicate expectations.
5. Establishes and manages an effective room's maintenance program.
6. Follow specific departmental procedures in performing repair, maintenance, alteration and installation work in a safe and neat manner.
7. Helps train associates in safety procedures.
8. Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities in order to determine the type of work required.
9. Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
10. Maintains accurate logs and records as required.
11. Monitors timeliness and quality of completion of repair work orders.
12. Operates generators and fire pumps as necessary.
13. Provide preventive maintenance and appropriate log-on to the various systems.
14. Provides emergency response services 24/7.
15. Respond to all service calls promptly.
16. Carryout all repair work orders.
