We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
To assist in the development and implementation of best practice sourcing methods, policies and processes to ensure that the right products and services are procured to time, cost and quality standards. Establish strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate best value for the common products and services, and manage the centralized sourcing activities.
Reporting to: Executive Managing Director
Job Profile
• Plan, supervise and control the implementation of all the company purchases of Construction Material & technical equipment from local and foreign suppliers, and ensure that all orders are received and cleared as per agreed schedules as well as per Company's process & procedures and in a best price/high quality effective manner.
• Ensure pre-planning and forecasting of needed items per-project and conduct periodic vendor evaluation to select partners and suppliers by establishing & maintaining an approved and qualified list of suppliers and also item wise catalogue in order to guarantee the provision of productive material on time to all work sites in the branch or at project site
• Determine appropriate contractual instruments for various types of centralized procurement (service contracts, long term contracts, bulk order contracts, etc) based on the assessment of the sourcing need and negotiate; Lead development and implementation of sourcing strategies related to key construction raw materials.
• For centralized purchases and services, develop or direct the development of bids/tenders, Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring all applicable legal and contractual provisions are included to safeguard the Company's interests;
• Ensure that the purchase orders and related documents for centralized purchases are completed accurately and in compliance with procedures and requirements.
• Monitor supplier quality and intervene where necessary to assure strong supplier performance and Supervises the custom clearance of items purchased from foreign markets.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Person should have held a Procurement Manager position for at least 3 years
• Confident to perform under pressure and multi-projects at one time working exposure
• Fluent in written and spoken English & Arabic is MUST
• Excellent in Microsoft Excel & knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable
• Experience and knowledge in local KSA market is an advantage
• Age Group of 32-40 Yrs
• Candidate Must Have Transferable Visa
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary level to be used as a guide only and will depend on experience levels and interview performance
• As a guideline between 16-20k SAR per month + Benefits
