The candidate will be responsible for assessing the credit worthiness of various commercial customers of the Bank; assumes the responsibility of marketing and selling credit facilities, and other financial services offered by the Bank to local, current, and prospective commercial clients, all in line with bank objectives and policies.
Responsibilities include:
a) Conducting periodic business calls to review clients' financial needs and opportunities for marketing bank services.
b) Carrying out comprehensive financial and non financial analysis on customers financial statements as part of a complete credit analysis report on new credit requests, and renewal of existing ones.
c) Presenting customers requests for extending or issuing new credit facilities with a comprehensive report to respective Committees.
d) Establishing cash and non-cash credit limits of the customer, and authorizing granting the facility, if within their limit, or submits recommendation for approval / disapproval with clear justification to respective Credit Committees.
e) Closely monitoring the performance of accounts within their portfolio to detect early signs of trouble in order to achieve higher levels of quality through minimizing defaults and provisions.
