Stationary Equipment Technician Jan 16th 2013, 07:21 Key Result Areas (KRAs) - Job Purpose Mechanical Integrity Inspection of Stationary Equipments Detailed Tasks / Activities Welding Inspection: Joint Fit up, Root run, Dye penetrant test, Magnetic Particle test, Hardness testing, viewing and interpreting Radiography. Welder Performance Qualification, Managing Repair alteration sheets, Management of Change Process.Internal and external inspection of Pressure envelope (vessels, columns, piping, Exchanger, Valves etc. )which may need confined space entry, participate in Job safety analysis.Inspection of surfaces, coating and painting, RefractoryInspection of Corrosion under insulation, Site preservation.Use of Inspection techniques like Dye Penetrant Test, Magnetic Particle test, Radiography, Positive Metal identification. hardness testing, Video Probe inspection / Boroscopy, Thermography Key Result Areas (KRAs) - Job Purpose Condition Monitoring of Stationary Equipments Detailed Tasks / Activities Building Corrosion Circuits, Ultra sonic Thickness monitoring of pipes and vessels. Collects baseline as well as scheduled monitoring data from equipments and updates in software. Reports to all concernedConduct steam trap survey and identify defective traps and notify maintenance to rectify them. Administration of Trap manager program, Compiling monthly report on Steam traps. Key Result Areas (KRAs) - Job Purpose Management of Inspection administration Detailed Tasks / Activities Maintains and calibrate all inspection tools as per schedule. Ensures that sufficient inventory of inspection consumables are available.Prepares inspection reports on Thickness survey, Welding inspection, Internal and external inspection in Meridium software.Assists Static Equipment Engineer in Preparing and managing Risk based Inspection.Perform as designated site representative for NDT contracts like Radiography, Cathodic Protection, TOFT Exchanger inspections.
