Supply Chain Manager - Octapharma Jan 22nd 2013, 14:23 Objective: -Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the supply chain functions (material planning, procurement, logistics and warehousing) by establishing policies, procedures, control and follow up and ensuring their implementation. Key Responsibilities: - Setting guidelines and priorities with overall supply chain management - Developing and implementing strategies to effectively manage the different aspects of the supply chain which includes sourcing, procurement, purchasing, transport, warehousing and distribution whilst assuring supply, quality, services, and cost effectiveness for direct, indirect materials, field overheads and sub-contract services - Leading and training the whole team to develop and implement alternate ways to source in order to achieve improved cost, delivery, and cash flow, including effective use of e-sourcing or auction - Effective development and execution of inventory policies to reduce purchasing and inventory costs year-over-year, and reports progress monthly per corporate reporting requirements - Ensuring all processes of suppliers' contacts and proposals are compliant with Company's code of business ethics and EH and S standard - Ensuring all purchases are based on reasonable cost and on integrity of suppliers' competition and selection - Working closely with the existing services provider in order to manage, plan and optimize logistics, product transportation, cost and pricing of transportation, warehouse and inventory management - Assuring timely distribution of materials or requested products to support each business units - Constantly review and enhance operations processes to meet supply chain standards and to drive business process improvements - Dealing with Special Governmental Sectors related to approvals, custom clearance, warehousing permissions ... etc. Job Details Date Posted: 2013-01-22 Job Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Job Role: Logistics Company Industry: Pharmaceutical Preferred Candidate Career Level: Management Apply Now - Jobs in Saudi Arabia - Search All Jobs
