- POSITION OVERVIEW:
The chief operating officer (COO) will be responsible for the operations of the subsidiaries, reports to the chief executive officer (CEO) and assists him in routine works and looks after daily optimization of various operations in different departments such as sales, marketing, operations and maintenance. Responsible for the company's day-to-day operating activities, including revenue and sales growth; expense, cost and margin control; and monthly, quarterly and annual reports to management. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activities against goals. COO will be responsible for enhancing the internal organization processes and infrastructure that allows the firm to continue to grow and fulfill its mission.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Direct company operations to meet budget and other financial goals.
• Demonstrate successful execution of business strategies for company products and services.
• Develop, establish, and direct execution of operating policies to support overall company policies and objectives.
• Plans, develops, and manages the operational budget for areas of responsibility; participates in the development of capital budgets for unit; determines fiscal requirements and prepares budgetary recommendations; monitors, verifies, and reconciles expenditure of budgeted funds; prepares proposals for capital and operating expenditures.
• The chief operating officer will be fully in line with the commercial strategy and will drive the harmonization of resource & capacity planning, processes, technologies and performance measurements.
• Direct and participate in acquisition and growth activities to support overall business objectives and plans.
• Supervises all productions operations.
• To manage business insurance, procurement, and admin. Supervision for his team.
• Prepares and distributes monthly and quarterly reports on operations, sales, production, maintenance and procurement to the management.
• Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions.
• Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology.
• Direct and oversee the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services.
• Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
• Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.
• Make sure the plants remains highly competitive within the region.
• Plan the activities of various departments and discuss it with heads of every department.
• Demonstrate competence in handling team building activities and motivating the teams to give quality performance.
• Keep an eye on the quality control of various activities with regards to product manufacturing, etc.
• Supervises maintenance operations and support maintenance Dept. to facilitate and solve their associated problems.
• Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company business.
• Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
• Supervises and coordinates operational activities and support staff within the plant.
• Manages inventory; develops and maintains inventory control initiatives; negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure optimum cost levels
• Give suggestions and advise management for making key changes in planning of various issues and business decisions.
• Conduct regular meetings and sessions to make all department heads ensure that works are completed as per the priorities of the set tasks.
• Ensure all works and activities comply with legal methods, general duty care and management.
• To manage legal documents and agreements.
• Act as mediator for conflict resolution among departments.
• Perform other related issues as assigned.
