Job Purpose:
Establish QFPC's presence in the market of educational materials and in the future identify new publishing projects and opportunities.
Key Result Areas:
1. Do a survey of the educational publishing market and present a report of the findings, recommended strategy and detailed plan
2. Be familiar with all relevant publications and their key selling points
3. Be responsible for selling BQFP, Bloomsbury and any other educational publications and achieving revenue and profitability targets
4. Develop and implement strategies for maximizing sales of all titles
5. Liaise with educational publishers to ensure smooth supply and appropriate sales management including cash collection, debt collection etc.
6. Liaise as necessary with QF finance department and BQFP finance staff regarding revenues, customers and other queries
7. Develop a database of potential accounts in the country, including key contact people, showing priority accounts, the intended frequency of contact with priority accounts, and describing the key characteristics of each account
8. Provide feedback to the Sales Manager and Publisher regarding potential sales of proposed new titles
9. Advise the Sales Manager, Publisher and Marketing staff regarding marketing opportunities and marketing materials required
10. Advise the Sales Manager, and Publisher of all relevant activities and publications by competitor publishers
11. Maintain reliable records of all accounts and transactions
12. Provide weekly sales report to the Sales Manager and BQFP/QF Finance Director
13. Prepare six months work plan
14. Work with BQFP team to identify new business opportunities and develop new projects within the region
