Web user interfaces designer to work with the server side development team in order to deliver the next generation web interfaces.
Responsibilities include:
o Convert PSD to XHTML layout using HTML5 table less div markup, CSS3 and jQuery
o Extend/maintain existing design PSD templates or design brand new user interfaces using Adobe tools
o Build and maintain cross browser compatible HTML templates
o Build and maintain cross platform mobile compatible templates (IOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows 8)
o Develop and maintain standard-compliant email templates
o Keep up to date with UI technology and trends
o Participate in internal product improvement, evaluation and beta testing exercises
o Develop dynamic AJAX web user interface using jQuery AJAX framework and jQuery UI
o Understanding of DOM manipulations with and without libraries, and deliver requirements with or without third party libraries
o Deliver web pages developed using AJAX/DHTML/JavaScript
o Work closely with the graphic designer and the web development team in order to build intelligent and feature reach user interfaces and front end layers
o Provide effort (man/hour) estimates for the requirements
o Should be able to appropriately explain effort estimations and schedule for the project tasks
o Suggest innovative solutions and UI end-user interactive interactions for various problems.
