We are currently seeking a IT Support Specialist on a part-time basis who will be providing technical support to our business. The job function will involve but not limited to Answer all basic trouble callsemails and record them for reporting purposes. Administer and maintain internal systems programs in coordination with external providers. Interact with internal clients to resolve basic and complex help desk issues in a timely manner. Administer and maintain the telephone system, including telephone switches. Install new hire phone and create voicemail extension and route extension to appropriate locations and update information as needed. Install, support and maintain new server hardware and software infrastructure. Manage email, anti-spam and virus protection. Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords. Monitor network and web usage of employees. Manage Company website and performance maintenance and update on a timely manner. Perform basic and more complex troubleshooting, backup, archiving, and disaster recovery. Undertake routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network security. Suggest and provide IT solutions to business and management problems. Provide training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence, when and if necessary. Work closely with other departmentsorganizations and collaborate with the Regional IT Office. Assist Regional IT Office in the implementation of any IT developments and undertaking project work for the Company, when and if needed.
