Direct Reports: Assistant Recruitment Manager, Recruitment Coordinator & Assistants
Job Purpose:
The Recruitment Manager will be charged with the responsibility of all recruitment requirements for the business operations. Supported by a small team, the Recruitment Manager will need to execute people planning strategies to ensure a continuous flow of talent to meet the fast pace of a large organisation that has strong contractual commitments to clients. The Recruitment Manager will also develop and lead targeted talent management strategies across the business so top employee talent is identified for progression and advancement; with the focus on reducing attrition and increasing retention.
Key responsibilities:
- To manage the recruitment assignments for large volume contracts and specialised and individual recruitment requirements within support teams (direct and indirect)
- Liaise and negotiate with third-party suppliers and offshore agencies for best terms and supplier agreements
- Develop systems and processes to streamline the recruitment pipeline
- Ensuring all vacancies are filled within required time frames with the best people
- To consult and manage relationships with Operational Managers and other Divisional Heads
- To recruit to a rolling recruitment plan to ensure recruitment needs are met
- To ensure all candidates and employees are treated fairly and with respect
- To ensure that the recruitment process is in keeping with the culture, are legally sound, run smoothly and use appropriate methods to ensure that candidates meet job and behaviour requirements
- To be an ambassador of the company to all applicants
