Purpose of Role
This company operates a Digital Business whose core role is to serve and develop digital music initiatives and services in the Middle East and North Africa region.
The main aspect of the company's Digital Business function is the management and co-ordination of digital accounts, which span a large number of territories. As the number of key global digital accounts managed by us continues to grow, the focus on co-ordination, providing support and sharing best practice with territories is greater than ever. The Digital Business team is looking to recruit a Junior Digital Account Manager to not only manage the relationships of key global digital accounts but also to work closely with local territories where digital accounts have a presence or plans for future rollout.
Digital accounts consist of all kinds of music services, covering music and videos on all kinds of devices and interfaces from mobile, PC, TV, tablets etc.
To manage these accounts we are looking for a strong account manager or project manager with a great sense of team spirit, enthusiasm and energy. The Junior Digital Account Manager will be the main point of contact for every aspect of the account. This includes liaising with Commercial Affairs, International Marketing, Production, Content Management, Technology, Business Affairs, Sales Reporting and Finance as well as escalating issues to Senior Management.
Main Objectives
•Build and maintain excellent relationship with digital accounts.
•Be a point of contact for all digital account queries.
•Work as an analysts to assess results, forecast sales and to analyse sales data from digital accounts to assure reports in time, establish trends and make recommendations to relevant parts of the business.
•Review and present the overall performance of the accounts on a regular basis.
•Monitor P&Ls of each digital account and be responsible for correct financial tracking of each account.
•Drive revenue growth in all accounts.
•Ensure receipt of reports from digital account in time and in the right formats.
•Ensure all reports are ingested into UMGI's global reporting system.
•Be responsible for accurate and punctual invoicing of digital accounts .
•Work with the Director of Digital Accounts and Senior Management to understand and achieve business objectives.
•Maintain digital catalogues using various content management systems.
•Identify new product initiatives and business development opportunities within the account and work with internal teams to make these opportunities happen.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with digital teams across Universal Music Group International by acting as a center of excellence to co-ordinate and support digital initiatives.
•Negotiate marketing plans and influence accounts to meet our digital marketing objectives. This also includes defining key performance indicators and measuring the success of the campaign .
•Work with other members of our Marketing and UMGI Global Digital Business team including international marketing, production/ digital delivery, sales reporting, finance and legal to ensure good management, budgeting and communication of the digital accounts propositions and marketing .
•Travel may be required to company territories and to Europe.
