In order to deliver the Real Estate MENA Project Programme to top quartile performance and meeting Goal Zero, the primary accountabilities for the role are:
• Appointment and contract performance management of a range of third party service providers delivering RE advice, professional design teams and Project Managers.
• Responsibility to prioritise, co-ordinate and supervise third party resources deployed in the delivery of projects.
• Responsible to deliver complex and significant project portfolios within the Real Estate plan.
Lead the delivery of projects from initiation, through scope definition, assembling and appointing professional design / support teams from the market in line with developed contracting strategies and appointing developers of general contractors for delivery.
• Accountable for the design, documentation and construction stages of the projects, quality, driving time schedules, managing and reporting on costs, and in all respects following HSE guidelines and Shell's Real Estate standards.
• Governance: deliver projects through mandated Real Estate-ORP governance structure and process ensuring Group mandates are met managing projects safely to time, quality and budget.
• Conduct complex negotiations on own, or as part, of a professional team.
• Stay updated with the assigned Business drivers, targets, and organisation changes and external RE factors influencing performance and strategy.
• Promote the implementation of continuous business improvement
• Develop and maintain relationships with Business Opportunity Managers (BOM), Decision Executives and local stakeholders.
• Managing the PD activities in a sustainable way in line with Group and SRE Sustainable Development mandates and frameworks.
• Provide key input into Portfolio Plan feasibility studies
• Have responsibility for HSSE in accordance with Global HSSE policy.
• Contribute to the Group Real Estate Plan accurately updating any programme and portfolio data into RE IT systems as required.
