Job Description
This role will provide advisory support to countries on the Local Regulatory Reporting on 12 months contract basis.
This may be an ideal role for a secondment or for someone looking to broaden their skills with exposure to Group Finance Systems with emphasis on supporting various local regulatory and country requirements; intensifying the collaboration across the network.
The job holder will work closely with stakeholders (Country Finance, Risk, Capital Management, Product Control, Data Warehouse, Basel Capital Reporting Solution, PeopleSoft General Ledger) to support the Local Regulatory Reporting process.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
* Work with countries that are embarking on either new local regulatory reporting system implementation or refreshing existing ones.
* Leverage on the understanding on the current Core Finance systems & data and provide advice for the countries.
* Drive intuitive fact-finding discussions with stakeholders along the analysis of the local regulatory reporting solution and help countries to assess the potential gaps.
* Initiate discussion with Technology or Operations and work out the business requirements with countries.
* Work with the stakeholders for the enhancement of the support for the local regulatory reporting process.
Qualifications & Skills
* Have a Finance related background covering the financial reporting aspects, and have a strong governance and control mindset
* A good working knowledge on banking applications, products and services.
* Strong analytical skills with experience to perform data mining and linking the various local regulatory reporting requirements to our central data sources in our core Finance Systems.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and be able to multi-task on different requirements across various stakeholders.
* Cultural sensitivity and awareness to work with a range of people from diverse background and geographies .
