Process Control Engineer - Oil, Power & Energy (Upstream)
We are seeking Process Control Engineers to work as part of the Technical Support Division for Oil Field and Oil Production Operations.
These roles are open to candidates with either European or North American residency, hence it is expected that applicants be currently based in one of the following locations:
United States / Canada / United Kingdom / Norway / Denmark / Germany / Italy / France / Spain
As part of the Technical Support Division you will provide engineering and technical support to Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas Production Facilities.
Responsibilities:
As a Process Control Engineer you will provide day-to-day engineering and technical support for plant operations. This will include plant equipment performance, process efficiency, control systems operation, design package review and project commissioning.
- Take the lead role for Process Automation / Control Systems Engineering
- Perform day-to-day maintenance activities on all Control System devices
(e.g., administration, configuration, upgrade, monitoring, etc.).
- Installation of Security, Operating Systems and Application patches.
- Manage the Domain Controllers and monitor Access Control to all nodes.
- Perform Backup & Restore components.
- Develop, implement and comply with Control System security standards, procedures and guidelines.
- Configure Control System Network switches, routers, firewalls and connections.
- Manage and perform system configuration and monitoring and ensure proper coordination of systems security responsibilities.
- Provide training, guidance, support and mentorship to Junior Engineers and to proponent organizations.
- Perform Risk assessment and Disaster Recovery Planning.
