Catering Operations Officer | Qatar Airways | Doha - Qatar Airways May 9th 2013, 05:00 About Your Job::   In this role you will be responsible for providing support to the 24\7 Catering Operations Team as well as ensuring that every flight departs on time, with the agreed menus, stores, bars and equipment. You will be required to execute all operational activities and follow up to ensure that all caterers deliver service and products to the defined specifications for Qatar Airways and perform to the desired level. You should resolve operational issues affecting the existing catering schedule and meal patterns. You will provide operational inputs for daily senior management briefings as required as well as examine and recommend changes to improve the quality and efficiency of the daily operational plan and execution of the daily schedule plan. You will be responsible for implementing control measure for meals wastage and catering equipment flow where necessary. About You:: To be successful in this role you will need a degree in related field for recognised university or equivalent professional qualifications. You will have a minimum 5 years of job-related experience within Airline, Catering, Travel or Hotels. You must have good knowledge of processes, procedures and business practices on Infight catering operations.
