All responsibilities of the Project Manager on site are applicable to the discipline engineer is to assist the Project Manager in achieving his endeavor.
Manages site Engineers and their teams and manages the assignments delegated by the Project Manager.
To adherence to the company's procedures and policies.
In coordination with the technical discipline engineers to manage, prepare and submit the required deliverables assigned by the Project Manager.
To guide the discipline site engineers through the discipline planning and engineering process throughout the duration of the project.
To manage and prepare the material procurement and submittal schedules.
To manage and prepare the shop drawings schedules.
To determine the man power requirement and histogram
To verify design calculations carried out by the technical Engineers.
To plan and assign various work activities for execution.
To prepare weekly, daily progress reports.
To give induction training whenever required to junior engineers and workers down the line.
To plan and track the material requisitions, purchase orders and delivery schedules and to raise concerns for any delay or shortage of material.
To plan and track the manpower requirement and to raise concerns for any shortage.
