About Your Job:
The Operations Controller proactively support the Duty Manager OCC in the daily operations control and monitors the network for potential operational threats and risks. You will develop, organise, implement and co-coordinate short-term operational recovery plans for the network. Additionally, coordinate all operational aspects in relation to disruption recovery strategies, policies and processes to ensure day-to-day regular, irregular (and emergency) operations achieve quality implementation. You will ensure the dissemination of all relevant operational information to stakeholders and play a proactive role in driving OTP. Additionally, giving due consideration to customer service standards, QCAA and Qatar Airways safety standards and required profitability. You will ensure aircraft tail allocation to the planned schedule within OCC controlled period. Request changes to fleet maintenance to meet the network requirements and ensure all aircraft movements are correctly reflected in the AIMS system.
About You:
To be successful in this role you must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a airline operations control centre role, with at least a tertiary degree or certification. Strong and competent communicator. Demonstrated effective leadership capabilities. Self confident and self motivated. Comfortable taking and accepting responsibility. Able to delegate and work under intensive time pressures.
