0. Involved in water pipeline projects and had past experience with Clients such as Transco, ADDC, ADSSC.
1.Manages projects and coordinates with the Planning Engineer for the overall planning (work program, work schedule, histograms, material delivery schedule) of the project activities; defines the scope and implements project plans in accordance with the client's needs as early as pre-selling activities, through proposal scoping and project start-up, execution and completion.
2.Advises on tenders, project budgets, contracts and cost estimates.
3.Provides hands on project management and actively manages the project plan, deliverables, dependencies, and outcomes for selected project(s) as approved by senior management and key stakeholders to ensure that the project goals and objectives are achieved within the project timeframe and guidelines established by the relevant stakeholders and management committees.
4.Prepare communication plans and related project status reports to key stakeholders and governance bodies (as appropriate) to provide project updates on activities and deliverables, as well as risks and mitigation strategies.
5.Defines and manages overall project risk identification and mitigation processes through interaction with project constituents and stakeholders; identifies all project barriers on a timely basis and identifies strategies and approaches to overcome these barriers;
6.Consults and negotiates with clients and consultants on issues/ concerns that might arise as needed on projects; liaises on all contractual matters related to the project with the Division Head and ensures the Company's rights and entitlements are recorded and notified to the client/ consultant as appropriate and in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.
7.Completes and manages project activities using an industry standard project management process to ensure a consistent approach to project completion.
8.Directs and reviews the preparation of shop drawings, material submittals and monthly payment certificates for submission to the client/ consultant during the project.
9.Ensures method statements, procedures are submitted to the Consultants and are implemented as per their approval.
10.Reviews BOQ prepared by Quantity Surveyors to ensure compliance with client specifications/ requirements.
11.Reviews cost variations prepared by the Quantity Surveyor and the Planning Engineer in coordination with the Division Head for discussion and approval by the client/ consultant.
12.Verifies and reviews recovery plans prepared by the Planning Engineer, communicates the plans and takes necessary action with the client.
13.Selects, on-boards and orients the site staff assigned to projects to clearly identify purpose and background for the project; defines and determines the role of project management in each project, including specific roles and responsibilities for each project member; evaluates the performance of site staff in coordination with their direct supervisors.
14.Manages all site work and ensures that it is executed in accordance with the contract approved specifications, drawings, plan, and method statement/ procedures submitted to the consultant.
15.Performs administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services; prepares cash flow in coordination with the Finance department.
16.Plans and directs site activities related to the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities
17.Initiate material submittal / approvals and follow up till final approval.
18.Plans, directs and coordinates survey work/ setting out with other staff activities, certifying survey work, and writing land legal descriptions/ requirements.
19.Engages in technical progress meetings with Consultant/ Client and reviews for any corrective actions.
