With 21 Stores currently located across the GCC including locations in the UAE, Oman, Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar there is further growth planned with an additional four stores to open in 2013 to further strengthen this exciting brand within the Middle East market.
Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking an experienced professional for the role of Retail Analyst to be based in our Regional Office in Dubai. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will work closely with the retail area of the business analysing sales figures, KPIs and weekly reports on budgets, forecasts and subsequent variances.
You will be responsible for investment appraisals for new store openings and develop new shop models to predict forecasts and potential returns also focusing on following areas:
* Development and delivery of appropriate financial and non-financial retail KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis.
* Responsible for the configuration of the system enabling products and categories to be consistently created in RMS.
* Responsible for logging all purchase orders in RMS and ensuring that invoices match orders.
* Working closely with the financial controller to ensure that the retail system is producing accurate sales and stock data and that this is being reflected in M&S accounts.
* Produce minutes and take responsibility for delivering action points where appropriate following all retail meetings.
* Manage the RMS relationship and the development of reporting tools that support the retail business.
* Training of the relevant members of the operational Retail Team on RMS including use of the Purchase Order module.
* Ensure the Retail Team is making the best use of RMS functionality and that the Retail Team fully understands any limitations of the RMS system.
* Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably expected by the Head of Retail within the scope and responsibilities of this role.
* Participate in projects as and when required.
