Overall responsibility for managing, coordinating and administering of the Company proposal effort on all selected proposals incorporating the pre-bid stages of definition, planning, conceptual engineering, procurement,
Manage the supply, procurement, and maintenance of equipment and services in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Tendering and Service Contracting:
1. Review the prime contract documents and data, develop risk profiles and establishes plans, schedule and budgets for proposal obligations and review the technical input.
2. Lead the presentation of the Proposal to the senior management for their review and approval.
3. Take the lead in coordinating the planning and execution of the work with organizations such as Operation, Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, Commissioning and other services to achieve a compliant Proposal.
4. Initiate and direct the planning and development of the Preliminary Project Execution Plan (PPEP), scope definition, project procedures, budgets, and project schedules.
5. Ensure that all contacts, including major correspondence and working relationships is maintained throughout the duration of the proposal.
6. Monitor and control all contractual commitments to ensure that all work is being performed in accordance with specifications, drawings and terms, and conditions.
Equipment:
1. Make recommendations to Management regarding the acquisition and disposal of equipment and vehicles.
2. Manage equipment workshop functions for repairs and preventative maintenance and servicing according to manufacturer's specifications and recommendations.
3. Facilitate the procurement and finalise purchases for new equipment/vehicles and respective spares with international and local suppliers.
Safety and Quality:
1. Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company's Health, Safety & Environment System requirements.
2. Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
3. Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System
requirements.
