MAIN OBJECTIVE OF JOB:
The Head of HR acts as HR Business Partner to the Line of Business / Function by embedding corporate HR strategy and providing professional HR guidance and support to VPs and their management teams the objective of adding value to the business.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
-Primary accountability and responsibility for all HR interventions within the Line of Business / Function and primary point of contact for liaison with the Line of Business / Function Vice President and their management teams.
-Contribute to the business strategy by helping business leaders to identify, prioritise, and build organizational capabilities, behaviours, structures, and processes.
-Contribute to the development of, and then implement business and HR strategies and plans, as a key member of the Line of Business / Function and HR management teams.
-Support management teams to deliver their business objectives through their people, providing expert guidance on the management of business change and organisation design for optimal performance.
-Ensure that relevant people processes are owned and implemented effectively by the Line of Business / Function and that development in HR service and processes are made in conjunction with the business.
-Support line managers in forecasting and planning their talent/resource pipeline requirements in line with the Line of Business / Function strategy.
-Support the Saudisation agenda and ensure it is central to resourcing and development in the Line of Business / Function.
-Provide expert advice and coaching to employees/line mangers when appropriate
-Identify and drive the communication and sharing of best practices across Lines of Business / Functions to facilitate continuous improvement.
-Act as a liaison between the line and HR to ensure that HR services are aligned with Line of Business / Function needs.
-Identify new opportunities where HR can add value to the business
-Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR operational plan and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives.
-HR lead for the development of people and organisation plans for bids and projects in line with requirements under Life Cycle Management.
-Responsible for the delivery of HR reports and briefs into senior level reviews and meetings etc.
-Resolution of any business inter-dependencies and issues with other Heads of HR in the Business that may arise in day to day activities.
-Participate actively as a primary member of the HR Function, including participation in monthly functional reviews as required.
-Provide advice and input to the HR and Resource Plans of suppliers and partners to ensure the application of appropriate BAE Systems Saudi Arabia governance.
