Role:
A member of the wider management team of the company with responsibility for managing the successful operation of the office in Oman and in managing the relationships with the with insurance regulator, the Capital Markets Authority (CMA), Oman Chamber of Commerce, Oman Ministry of Labor and other government bodies and in ensuring compliance with all local requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:
•To act at all times with the due skill, care and diligence and integrity in working to the highest standards of business ethics. Observing standards of market conduct and all company policies at all times
•To be aware of and ensure adherence to all legal and other government bodies requirements
•To be the main point of contact with the Ministries and managing the PRO directly in the administrative aspects of interactions with government bodies
•Oversee and support all office activities to ensure the smooth functioning of the office for all staff (in Oman and on behalf of staff in Bahrain) and all external visitors including customers. This includes liaising with the landlord and external suppliers and abiding by all health and safety requirements.
•Monitor Operational areas including delivery of policy documents.
•Oversee HR issues including staff attendance and policies & procedures.
•Oversee marketing requirements including purchasing orders, shipment of supplies and checking marketing production in Oman for quality
•Ensure all IT requirements for staff are in place, liaising with the local IT Consultant and/or IT department in Bahrain as appropriate
•Will take responsibility and co-ordination for the Business Continuity Plans for the Oman office and be the lead point of contact for the Group's Business Continuity Plans.
. Provide all support as may be required in rolling out in other banks or with other distribution partners or in aspects of the day to day affairs of the company in Oman
•Deputize for the General Manager as may be required from time to time and only upon specific instruction
•As and when required:
oLiaise with the Finance Department in Bahrain with regards to:
Coordinating with the external auditors on regulatory filings and Oman Office Financials
Preparing the Oman Ledger
Coordinate regulatory and financial reporting
Maintain petty cash in Oman
Coordinate with the assigned Bank in opening new accounts, blocking amounts and transfers of funds
oCoordinate with Bahrain office on payroll related issues
