Position Summary:
The job incumbent is responsible for all aspects of development, implementation & delivery of effective Performance Management & Evaluation strategy that improve the overall performance of SCH and contribute in the achievement of SCH Vision, Mission, Strategic Goals & Objectives.
Tasks & Duties:
1.Establishes objectives and integrated Performance Management System in the SCH that enables a timely evaluation of all staff based on quality of work assignments and work techniques.
2. Develops a plan to apply new performance management system including procedures & policy evaluation forms & reports.
3. Utilizes Job Analysis, Job Descriptions, and Job Evaluation tools to determine productivity and workloads thereby developing top down management guidance on fitment and performance appraisal in the SCH.
4. Understands and analyze performance strength and weaknesses at every level of the SCH. to identify performance gaps and recommends necessary actions.
5. Supervise Development of KPI's for different levels including individual, departmental .
6. Ensures that all Managers are trained for setting KPI's and setting SMART goals for their teams and staff in compliance with the business plans.
7. Ensures sound performance appraisal process is in place.
8. Integrates the performance evaluation results into devising the appropriate compensation strategy.
9. Coordinates with Learning & Development Section to derive the training needs & employees development plans from the Performance Evaluation results.
10. Ensures systems and procedures are established to check that employees meet all expectation of the organization and fulfil their professional obligations.
11. Manages the performance evaluation process, announce the results & prepare the reports for top management.
12. Audits the performance results and defines special cases available to confirm the availability of fair performance system, such as transfer, promotion, contract renewal, training & termination.
13. Manages the transformation of people management into result-driven, strategic business function.
