Supply Chain Specialist
Boeing Qatar Inc is recruiting a level 3/4 (dependent on the candidate's level of experience) Local Hire individual to provide site supply chain logistical support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Successful candidate will coordinate activities to support provisioning and product deliverables, maintains accurate inventory control of assets and monitors customer spares requirements/inquiries.
• Candidate will also analyze data to determine inventory change requirements, investigates feasibility repair/overhaul, reviews applicability of warranties to allocate costs and coordinates and documents movement of assets and components through the repair cycle.
• Candidate should have experience and background working with ITAR inventory and shipping restrictions associated with this material.
• Must be able to adapt to non-English speaking cultural environment, work independently with minimal supervision, and be flexible in terms of working hours and shifts.
• Typical daily tasking will involve stock, store, and issue for the Qatar Air Force inventory.
• Candidate should be able to demonstrate proficiency in standard and ESD packaging requirements and warehouse material handling tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of Department of Defense spares and supply support processes and procedures, USAF logistics support operations and systems.
• Be familiar with Air Force Material Management, C17 technical publications and airframe database systems (SBSS/ESS, D043, DTOS, and G081), and have knowledge of engineering drawings, preferably C-17.
• Experience with Integrated Defense System (IDS) procurement system, C-17 Repair of Reparables process, and the GOLD system is a must.
• This position will involve working in a warehouse environment and will be required to perform some touch labor tasks as required.
• Task requires relocating to Qatar.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
Do you have at least 3 years of Supply Chain and Logistics experience?
Typical Education/Experience:
A Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent) is required for the Manufacturing Engineer position. Alternatively we will consider a qualified applicants with strong relevant experience for a Manufacturing Planner position.
High school diploma or GED and typically 7 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in the supply of military aircraft logistics and associated warehouse and systems.

This job is a level 3 or 4 depending on the candidate's level of experience and requires a good level of experience and qualifications in relation to the scope and responsibility of the position. This position requires shift-work, standby, and possibly some travel. Familiarity with the Arabic language, and the C-17 Aircraft is a plus. Position requires relocating to Qatar and has a limited relocation package. Successful candidate will go through healthcare and background checks as required by the Qatari Immigration rules.
