The Director of Engineering is responsible for managing, supporting, and providing direction and leadership to teams and team leaders. The candidate must possess a history of strong leadership, deep practical engineering knowledge, and a proven track record of timely project/product delivery, project management, budget control, and customer satisfaction. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment. The desired individual is someone who will bring knowledge and creativity to the position as well as have the discipline to drive results and follow established fundamental processes.
The candidate will be measured on all levels of responsibility including timely delivery of releases, support, client engagements, profitability, and team management. He/she will establish long- and short-range goals and objectives for engineering delivery. The minimum qualification includes 12+ years of engineering experience, including 5 years of management experience.
Requirements
• Msc, MBA, or a higher qualification
• Bsc in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering
• 12+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in a similar capacity

Responsibilities
• Ensure quality releases on time, in sync with product platform vision and objectives
• Customer satisfaction and sustainability focused support operations delivery
• Help execute client engagement with the right people, at the time that maps stakeholder expectations
• Cover all angles of product management, marketing, and pre-sales to deliver business value to all stakeholders
• Oversee timely people acquisition, pipeline management, training, growth, work-life balance, and retention to ensure the integrity of a world-class team
• Define, tune and evolve policies, practices and procedures in collaboration with teams to ensure productivity, growth, success, and sustainability for both individuals as well as for the organization
