A Leading Telecom Company is looking for qualified professionals with the following experience:
Main Objective : ( Job Summary)
Responsible of :
1. Maintenance, operational work and controlling Fire alarm and fire fighting systems
2. Environmental management program EMS ( responsible of all recycling related to the company )
3. Occupational Health and Safety; implementing all policies and procedures including :Emergency response for any incident, evacuating employees, first aid services, removing all hazardous materials from work place &Fire inspection
4. Staff awareness on Health, Safety and Environment
Work on different projects and tasks within the team of the Business Excellence Division.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
• Achieving the OHSE Division Goal /Mission and implementing the Safety Plans in Successful and precise way
• Prepare the weekly OHSE report and present it to the OHSE Manager for approval
• Coordinate and distribute the work load of OHSE team members to achieve the best resource utilization
• Supervise the work of OHSE team members and insure compliance and adherence to set plans
• Provide support to the OHSE manager in preparing division' plans and Budget
• Act on behalf of the OHSE manager during his absent
• Lead the Development and Implementation of company's occupational Health & Safety program / Policies and procedures.
• Lead the Implementation of company's environmental management system EMS Programs.
• Conduct OHSE risk assessment and identify opportunities for improvement
• Conduct and coordinate essential Training to all safety committee members and Zain employees on the basic skills of first aid, rescue, and fire fighting to make them able to mange any emergency incident.
• Spreading the safety culture and preventive measurements, awareness, seminars, lectures, mails, training, and flyers.
• Lead the recycling and waste management programs, including collection and reporting
• Implementing & supporting the crisis management and business continuity program on both administrational and operational level (ERT, and CT).
• Provide OHSE input in relation to building renovation and new installed shops, utilities, and premises .
• Conduct / Lead the inspections and auditing of work place ( OHSE Inspections) to improve the level of compliance, and the abatement of hazardous or unsafe conditions on the company to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collecting all data from the daily / weekly / monthly rounds and prepare regular reports on the over all company performance regarding OHSE
• Setting Safety standards and action plans to be implemented in cooperation with management.
• Reporting and documenting all work injuries in cooperation with the clinic.
• Leading and conducting evacuation drills in coordination with safety committee members.
• Testing and updating Zain emergency plan (including evacuation plans) to meet any new changes occurs in the systems or building in coordination with all concern parties and official authorities.
• Responding to any incident inside the company, and participation in any required fire fighting, rescue, first aid operations.
• Be ready to handle additional responsibilities as and when needed by the department/division/business.
• Responsible for the security, Confidentiality & Integrity, of all information assets within his responsibilities in accordance with the company's Information Security Policies.
