• Ensure full production and preparation of food for functions including ordering stock, preparation and delivery of final product
• Assist in monitoring and controlling stock levels - daily, weekly, and monthly ensuring there are no shortfalls.
• Ensure stock rotation is followed and all store rooms/fridges and freezers are in order.
• Inspect, supervise, and participate in the cleaning of the kitchen.
• Train and instruct employees in cooking, food preparation and food handling techniques.
• Ensure all recipes and preparation requirements are met in the assigned station.
• Assist in the managing of the day to day food administration ensuring system compliance.
• Ensure temperature, seasoning and flavor are to catering specifications.
• Ensure the kitchen area is secured at closing time and all equipment is switched off and secure.
• The production is to be based on the number of passengers in the Food outlets and should be planned with the feedback of the Executive Chef, regarding passenger numbers for each meal.
• Check and ensure that all Salads are consistently prepared at the highest quality standard.
• Follow the formal training plans as set out by the management and implement on the job training sessions.
• Utilizes the standardized recipes and presentation photos as guidelines.
• Report for duty punctually properly dressed in the assigned uniform and well groomed
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by Executive Chef
