Waiter \ Waitress - Mezzan Holding Sep 21st 2013, 08:32 • Responsible for serving food, beverage and to accommodate guests' needs in a timely manner and friendly smile. • Aware of all menu items, terminologies and ingredients • Recommends appetizers, drinks and any other special feature of the day if available. • Takes main dish order by suggestively selling high value items and other sides and extras. • Clears unwanted plates and check for refill or repeat of existing drinks or suggestively sell another beverage. • Maintains table appearance by clearing unwanted plates, ashtray, tissues, napkins, and wish the guest to enjoy their food. • Clears plates from the table and recommend after meal items like desserts or tea/coffee. • Assists in replenishing cutlery/side plates/napkins during shift. • Assists other servers when busy w/large tables to create an environment of team work. • Participates in set up, individual duties assigned to each station. • Any other duties as required by the management.
