Technically responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the BI ecosystem within UASC on a modular basis- Iteratively re-factor the BI Solution source code to adhere to best practices, SOA design techniques and rapid development methodologies governed by an agile project
- Redesign of BI Backend- Refactoring
- Code Reuse activities
- Modularization
- SOA restructuring
- Implement Reports
-Implement changes to the BI System and occasionally create reports to serve the needs of the business users
- Implement a self-service BI environment and maintain that environment allowing users to create their own reports
- Take part in design reviews of the implementation of new requirements with vendors
- Perform unit testing of code on QA environment before release
- Take part in Business Analysis through confirming that the business requirements have a sound technical solution that can be implemented
- Insure the involvement of key users and obtain their sign off on requirements before commencement of development activities
- Providing estimates and monitoring of those estimates periodically to develop BI modules
- Develop project plans and monitor their progress
- Report status periodically to PMO, CIO and Senior stakeholders
- Be aware of project management methodologies and adopt project management standards in all projects
- Monitor and resolve and user issues that are reported to help desk
- Ultimately responsible for 2nd level support of BI System
