Geotechnical Engineer - Mouchel Middle East Oct 2nd 2013, 05:28 The purpose of this position is to provide specialist technical skills in the area of geotechnical engineering. The position requires input to geotechnical and ground engineering design, the evaluation of geotechnical data and supervising of site investigation fieldwork. Principal Accountabilities:  Review Contractor's submissions, ensuring that design and construction method statements are issued as per project's contractual and technical specifications and international standard.  Review and approval of Geotechnical Interpretative Reports.  Review of all monitoring and instrumentations reports, ground movement settlement reports, ground improvement proposed methods and superficial structures impact assessment reports.  Issuing weekly and monthly geotechnical follow up reports to the project management  Issuing of technical reports concerning excavation works, slope stability and retaining structures of the projects, supported with calculation notes.
