Full Time Regular
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develops, implements and coordinates policies and programs covering several of the following: recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, employee and labor relations, and personnel research.
Leads HR best practices with regard to policies / procedures.
Handles complex assignments related to harmonization and transfer of personnel
Counsels managers on HR policies, procedures and programs.
Manages Governmental and labor offices relations.
May participate in cross-divisional HR teams.
Communicates HR related programs to managers and employees
Conducts regular HR communication meetings with employees
Implements HR Plan and submits regular reports as well as has budgetary responsibility
Manages and develops HR staff and personnel team.
Develops short and long range strategic plans for effective utilization of HR.
Is given broad discretion and autonomy in decision making.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
12+ years HR experience including supervisory experience.
Experience in all HR related activities.
Broad knowledge of several HR principles, practices, and procedures.
Must have demonstrable experience in changing work environments and the effects associated in the HR area.
Excellent knowledge of the Egyptian labor law.
Ability to work independently with multiple people at many levels and work as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Effective leadership skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Master degree or HR Diploma is an asset.
Experience in the oil & gas industry is a plus.
