About Your Job:
In this role, you will maximize sales and ensure that the levels of customer service within Qatar Airways (QR) In-Flight Duty Free (IFDF) are the best within the Gulf region. Liaise with Cabin Crew management to devise mechanics to motivate crew to increase revenue and measure performance. You will manage the overall operational running of the Crew Shop, Staff Shop, Bonded Stores, and the Warehouse. Understand the market trends to identify new suppliers and maintain close relationships with existing supplier to ensure most profitable product selection is achieved.
You will also manage category purchasing functions at IFDF ensuring that sufficient stocks are available at all times to satisfy the projected sales growth. Analyze in depth correct performance with a view to focusing the range and maximizing profitability for the company. Plan, supervise and execute all marketing and corporate communication activities of QR IFDF.
About You:
You will have a minimum Diploma or Associate Degree, or equivalent experience. You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar capacity at a management level. A proven track record of managing day to day stock and inventory levels is an essential requirement. You will have exposure to B2B and B2C marketing along with a great deal of exposure to the latest product knowledge and market practices. You will be a strong problem solver with a great knack of working well under pressure, an experienced people manager with excellent written and verbal communication.
