Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Develops and implements strategic and tactical marketing plans for introduction of business into new geographic area and/or introduction of new business into already established area.
Financial management of Middle East operations with direct P&L responsibility, including direct contributions to financial planning budget process.
Increase sales and business development
Increase own presence in the ME for the downstream PL.
Discovery and understanding of client needs, both existing and new clients.
Assures strategies are consistent with overall objectives for the organization.
Prioritizes product opportunities to maximize sales and profits.
Responsible for the operations team
Managing a team of 10 people including recruiting.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably chemical or mechanical engineer)
10+ years of experience
Management & Sales experience
Excellent selling skills
Track record of achieving results
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
Chemical or oil & gas industry experience – preferably downstream
Technical background
Independent and self-motivated
Ready to travel by 60% of working time at least
Good knowledge of Petroleum Companies network (refineries, pipelines operating companies, marketing companies and petroleum trading organizations) operating in Middle East
A previous experience in selling chemical specialties and services to the petroleum industry would be a preference
