Right now we are seeking to recruit a number of experienced Structural Section Chiefs who have an extensive background on multi-site construction ventures. If you are serious about taking your career to the next level and have the desire and capability to work on a 12 billion SAR programme we want to speak with you immediately.
As an integral part of the team will be tasked in contributing to the on time and delivery of the overall development. In order fulfil the tasks assigned to you by the client you will you have the expertise to perform the following duties:
o Leading a team of site engineers within the Structural engineering department.
o Identifying and recommending streamlining of scope, inter-discipline/contractor work process.
o Scheduling and coordinating off-project review requirements.
o Identifying and implementing design issues related to constructability.
o Manage and participate in conflict resolution on site, contractors and at suppliers.
o Manage informal studies and technical briefings with customer, suppliers, disciplines/contractors and other departments/parties.
o Identifying lessons learned for future reference and draw from previous "Lessons Learned" database for project deliverables.
o Performing complex Structural activities on projects and participate in site rework during construction phase.
o Preparation and review of design guides and standards and coordinate such activities with functional engineering.
o Select, specify and prepare material requisitions for structural equipment and materials.
o Participate in industry-specific working groups or panels
o Preparation of budgets for the Structural Engineering department.
