Our Client is a Spanish specialized company in construction activity in Qatar. It has a wide experience accumulated over more than 100 years of history and specialises in building, roads, which brings in about 56% of the group's total business (7.201 million in 2009). Our Client's activities include all facets of construction, and the company serves as a reference in the execution of civil engineering and building work, both in the national and international markets (13th largest contracting company worldwide according to ENR). It also has proven experience in developing concession projects and also has a group of subsidiary companies dedicated to activities connected with the building sector (engineering, prefabrication, installations, etc).
He will be reporting to the Project Manager & will be fully responsible for HSE requirements of the project. He will be conducting daily tool box talk, safety reports & make sure that all the safety procedures are met with at site.
HSE Manager carries out supervision at site to ensure safety of all site activities as per approved H&S Plan. He co-ordinates with safety department and gets approval of all lifting equipment certificate.
He co-ordinates with operation department for work permit and critical activities at site.
HSE Manager coordinates with Project Manager or Project Engineer & discusses about the site safety precautions & actions to be taken during day activities at site.
He is responsible for the safety analysis of all critical activities. He will ensure that all site personnel are equipped with proper PPE.
Maintain a site safety log for review and clients inspection when and if required.
Carries out Hazard Risk Assessment for the site. Carrying safety inspection & raises NCR for non-conformities. Ensure first aid & emergency procedure for the site are established & maintained. Coordinates with the client for any safety relate requirement at site. An activity, which calls for critical safety attention, shall be highlighted.
Coordinate with the site disciplined engineer for all matters related to safety. Review & analyze the safety hazards in any critical activity & prepare remedial action to prevent occurrence of any accident. Responsible for reporting all incidents to client/Supervising Consultant.
