Job Information & Purpose:
Reports to: Managing Director
Responsible to lead the corporate affairs and communication function and support all the marketing activities, programs and initiatives in line with the overall strategic direction of Alwaseeta. Also responsible to drive the tactical implementation of the marketing strategy, plan and brand promotion.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop a marketing communication strategy that helps in strengthening the reputation of Alwaseeta with key stakeholder groups, enhances the awareness of the brand in the market place and ensures branding of subsidiaries is aligned to the holding company.
Work with the leadership team and business directorate heads to provide Alwaseeta employees with open, transparent and timely information about the organization, its core business activities and strategic direction.
Ensures that all Corporate Affairs & Communication activities of Alwaseeta are executed within the requirements of legal and organizational policy requirements
Champion the formulation and execution of annual plans and programs for the Corporate Affairs and Communication department alignment with overall strategy of Alwaseeta.
Oversee the development and continuous improvement of departmental policies, processes and methodologies benchmarking with international standards thus keeping pace with leading practices.
Develop the Corporate Affairs Strategy and Corporate Affairs Plan for Alwaseeta by identifying marketing opportunities and accounting for inputs given by the directorates heads to estimate the overall cost required to execute the marketing activities in the plan.
Initiate discussions with the concerned directorate heads and obtain inputs for the development of the Annual Corporate Affairs plan in line with the project milestones and budgets.
Develop a marketing communications strategy, budget and implementation plan to ensure the marketing activities directly support Alwaseeta's business objectives.
Develop a marketing communications manual to provide practical guidance on the delivery of marketing communication services within the organization.
Develop targeted communication initiatives for Alwaseeta's key stakeholder groups, including those in oil and gas, government and media, future shareholders and potential strategic partners.
Drive participation in targeted conferences and events where Alwaseeta is given the opportunity to connect and engage with potential strategic partners and other key stakeholders.
Develop electronic communications, brochures and other promotional materials to enhance awareness of Alwaseeta's service offering.
Leverage internal communication tools to share good news stories about the employe achievements, our community engagements and business successes.
Lead the communication activities with the media ensuring promotion of the corporate identity of Alwaseeta among the target audience/ stakeholders/ general public.
Draft accurate responses for requests from media on Alwaseeta for the Managing Director and other senior management personnel
Ensure information communicated about Alwaseeta core business activities is accurate, timely and transparent.
Review and approve all event management details (date, time & venue), key sponsorships, costs/ budgets and all required communication material to the media channels.
Review, approve and provide appropiate sugesstions to the content of the Internal Newsletter before publishing it.
Network/communicate with professionals outside Alwaseeta, represent the organization to the public, government, and other external sources via various communication media to promote Alwaseeta, its projects and build relationships that are critical to furthering Alwaseeta's business objectives.
Facilitate a work environment that engenders positive energy, creativity and teamwork among employees.
