Job Information & Purpose:
Reports to: Manager Corporate Affairs and Communication
Responsible to develop and convey a consistent "image" for Alwaseeta within Qatar and internationally through appropriate networking and public relations initiatives directed at the various stakeholders particularly in the Government, business and financial community etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop targeted communication initiatives for Alwaseeta's key stakeholder groups, including those in oil and gas, government and media, future shareholders and potential strategic partners.
Plan and conduct public-contact programs designed to meet the organisation objectives, utilizing knowledge of changing attitudes and opinions of customers, employees, or other groups and to create and maintain favourable public image for Alwaseeta
Ensure communication of information designed to keep the stakeholders and general public informed of programs, accomplishments, or Alwaseeta points of view on matters of concern/interest.
Represents Alwaseeta on prominent forums and conference to establish relationships with governmental officials, public establishments and similar bodies to widen business interest
Develop electronic communications, brochures and other promotional materials to enhance awareness of Alwaseeta's service offering.
Represent the Alwaseeta in the press at trade shows and other events.
Keep record and may be asked to cultivate contacts with local, regional and International medi - including print, broadcast, and other media.
Assist in reviewing press statements issued to ensure their accuracy and consistency with the overall brand image of Alwaseeta.
Maintain relationships with governmental officials, public establishments and similar bodies to widen business interest.
Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried in a controlled and consistent manner.
Research data, create ideas, write copy, lay out artwork, connect with media representatives and develop special projects
Network/communicate with other team members via various communication channels and build relationships that facilitate a work environment with positive energy, creativity and teamwork.
Establish and maintain a good working relationship with suppliers/ contractors
Track and monitor personal performance against annually determined performance measures and project deliveries
Ensure compliance with the performance management process and its linkages to learning and development.
