Position Summary:
Standardization & Guidelines Specialist is responsible for overseeing the development of standards and clinical guidelines, monitoring and ensuring all providers are complying with the national standards and clinical guidelines for the purpose of supporting the accomplishment of National Health Strategy.
• Ensures the national standards and clinical guidelines is well-defined with specific reference to the National Health Strategy
• Oversees, monitors and ensures full compliance with standards and national clinical guidelines
• Reviews and updates clinical guidelines regularly to remain up-to-date and to take into account any new evidence
• Prepares summaries of the available information and existing guidance, present these to the relevant advisory committees and assist in the drafting of the quality standards
• Coordinates all activities and reports all progress made for the project.
• Ensures that standards and guidelines related activities are successfully implemented and that relevant learning is documented, disseminated to staff and used to inform future decisions
• Ensures that project reports are developed and submitted in a timely manner
• Undertakes any other duties as assigned.
