My client, one of the largest Energy companies in the world, is currently seeking an IT / Network Engineer to support the Refining & NGL Fractionation area in the field of Business and Process Computer Networking. This position will be based in Ras Tanura, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The position will focus on plant network and system compliance. Specific duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Provide high level consultation to the refinery managers, superintendents and network engineers.
Help to establish and maintain plant network security compliance KPIs.
Assist and ensure completeness and robustness of network security and compliance by each facility.
Conduct workshops and ensure best practices are well applied by each facility.
Perform risk assessment for each facility and generate recommendations to eliminate network security risks.
Generate status reports for all facilities for the refining and NGL facilities.
Ensure the implementation of a standardized compliance process and methodology.
Conduct formal training as required.
Work with Central Engineering to identify network tools to monitor and ensure network security.
Recommend actions to mitigate compliance gaps.
Participate in investigation teams conducting network analysis and formulate applicable recommendations.
Work as a mentor to young engineers.
