Our client, a reputable Process Engineering firm is currently seeking to recruit a Pilot Scale Plant EngineerJob Description Oversee the design and Implementation of control system at RO Plant Performs tests on reverse osmosis, Nano Filtrations, Ion exchange and Reactors Troubleshoot plant problems Scheduling and planning predictive, preventive maintenance for process plants, analyzing root cause including budgeting and cost control activities. Monitoring performance of RO, Nano Filtrations, Micro Filtration, Ion Exchange system on daily basis. Monitoring the performance of the plant on daily basis and managing resources both manpower and spare parts. Responsible for updating and maintaining of engineering drawings, layouts, diagrams, technical specifications and cost estimates including the procedures for testing and commission of the plant. Maintain and operate the plant safely. Plan schedule of Pilot Plant tests, implements tests and prepare timely reports Responsible for the test product quality control Responsible for the set up procedure for the safety of the entire plant Reviewing existing data (also lab analysis) to see if more research and information need to be collated Conducting process development experiments to scale in a laboratory, if required Able to prepare Technical reports of tests carried out at the Pilot Plant Assessing the availability of raw materials and the safety and environmental impact of the plant Managing the cost and time constraints of projects Selecting, managing and working with sub-contractors Assuming responsibility for risk assessment, including hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies, for the health and safety of both company staff and the wider community Working closely with Head Office to monitor and improve the efficiency, output and safety of a plant Ensuring the process works at the optimum level, to the right rate and quality of output, in order to meet supply needs Making observations and taking measurements directly, as well as collecting and interpreting data from the plant Assuming responsibility for environmental monitoring and ongoing performance of processes and process plant Ensuring that all aspects of an operation or process meet specified regulations Working closely with other specialists, including scientists responsible for the quality control of raw materials, intermediates and finished products engineers responsible for plant maintenance commercial colleagues on product specifications and production schedules and the operating crew.
