Our client, a reputable cabling manufacturer is currently seeking to recruit Production Supervisor - Rubber Plant . You will be reporting directly to the Manufacturing ManagerJOB PURPOSE To effectively coordinate manufacturing resources throughout the shift to achieve the manufacturing plan.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Takes responsibility to execute agreed manufacturing plan to effectively achieve required output with efficient use of resources. Organises operators shifts, overtime and leave cover to ensure adequate machine crewing to achieve required output. Assesses operator's performance and Identifies training needs to ensure that adequate training is carried out. Organises materiel movement to ensure bottle neck operations are optimised. Monitors daily performance of plant and processes to ensure that machine performance meets required standard. Maintains records of product deviation to ensure controlled disposition of non-conforming product and to provide data for the identification of opportunities for corrective action. Support and assist mfg and tech team to achieve continuous improvements. Supervises the use of 5S in the work area to achieve clean and safe work environment.
