Contracts Manager required for a leading company in Doha, Qatar.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1.1. The role of the Contracts Manager is to ensure satisfactory execution and consolidation of all project activities safely, on time, within budget and according to specification from initial project inception to completion.
1.2. Ensure that statutory health and safety regulations are observed at all times and that safety on site is maintained at high standard.
1.3. Monitor project schedules and determine corrective actions if required to ensure schedule is maintained.
1.4. Ensure adequate cost control for the project budgets.
1.5. Report to Project Manager/Head of Projects Department regarding Cost and schedule.
1.6. Ensure all variations to project scope are recorded and agreed with client.
1.7. Contribute in pre-qualifying, capability assessment, technical review of materials and contributing in selecting subcontractors.
1.8. Chair and Hold Weekly Project Progress Meeting to review project Status, including Subcontractors.
1.9. Liaise with client senior management regarding all project matters.
1.10. Prepare a monthly payment claims and Final Payment Claims and submit to Managing Director for review.
1.11. Approve budgets for project in conjunction with the Finance and Accounting Manager.
1.12. Approve weekly / monthly Progress Reports before submittal to the Client / Consultant as per contract requirements.
1.13. Ensure compliance with Company standard procedures relating to project Administration, in terms of Time Keeping, Labour and asset transfer, petty cash handing, materials received vouchers, etc.
