• To plan and carry out warehousing and distribution activities in Main Warehouse so as to maintain warehousing standards, hygiene, meet customer expectations, in accordance with agreed targets and business plan.
• Ensure on time delivery of products to all category of customers as per the agreed service level.
• Ensure optimum utilisation of available resources to reduce the operational cost by reducing staff overtime & other cost.
• Ensure timely unloading of inbound consignment as per the agreed norm (within 4 hrs). Report damages, short expiry stocks, shortages immediately.
• Motivate and lead Warehouse team to perform with higher efficiency.
• Is responsible for stocks accuracy along with the operational team.
• Ensure FIFO control, monitor the expiry stocks regularly and inform the concerned on the stock expiry status.
• Maintain Hygiene and safety in the warehouse; arrange stocks in specified locations in the store.
• Customers returns should be dealt as per the company norms and if any variation, keep the concerned informed on the same.
• Ensure service costs are controlled thoroughly.
• Ensure that cycle counts are done for all the warehouses (including the Van Sales) as per the SOP & schedule.
• Follow company policies discipline and maintain transparency in internal communication.
