Wells Positions - Shell Feb 20th 2013, 07:19 -Develops conceptual well designs and completion options. Matures different well designs and evaluates design options against project objectives & project value drivers -Prepares Well Functional Specifications, Well Technical Specifications and provides input for Well Proposals & the Field Development Plan -Identifies well construction materials, rig requirements and long lead time items -Performs detailed well design calculations, including casing design, torque & drag, well trajectory, borehole stability and etc., utilising well design software -Develops detailed well designs and prepares drilling programs for the Wells Plans and executes drilling operations, supporting a one-rig drilling operation. Prepares cost estimates, including probabilistic estimates and benchmarking -Maintains risk and opportunity registers, updates risk response strategies and implements risk management plans -Contributes to peer reviews, technical challenge workshops & technical reviews, cost & project reviews.
